Meet The Penguins

Cape Town

Activity Description

An informative, in-depth walking tour across our beaches and shaded, coastal forest walkways visiting with the African penguins whom we know and love!

After meeting your guide at our Shark Warrior Adventure Centre at Seaforth Beach, you will be introduced to the local Seaforth penguin colony and learn about the African penguins’ unique lifestyle. We will then follow the coastline to Waters Edge beach and onto a shaded coastal forest walkway past Boulders Beach Visitors Centre. (Entrance to the park is an additional cost and subject to request on the day). Learn more about these fascinating and highly endangered birds as your guide interprets their behaviour in great detail. We will spend most of the time here, before returning back along the scenic walkway to Seaforth Beach.

Customer Reviews

Our walk was taken with a very knowledgeable guide which gave us a new appreciation of conservation efforts in our oceans. We did not realise how bad the state of our oceans is. The eventual disappearance of the Penguin as well as many other vital species to the stability of the sea is of serious concern. I think that a great effort is being put in by the team to increase awareness of the dire situation. I was surprised by the lack of appreciation of the local community with regards to the importance of the oceans to the sustainability of the local economy and sustainable jobs going forward unless drastic action is taken to reverse the dire situation. - VAUGHAN
